Script Macro

The Script macro lets you generate a part of the message with a scripting langauge supported on your computer, such as Java Script or VB Script.

Script can access recipient data and use it to generate the text of the message as specified in the Script API.

#/User(Language,Script File)/#

Language is the language used to write a scrit. This could be any scripting language supported by your computer, which includes, but is not limited to these scripting languages.

Script File is the location of the file containing the text of the script.

An example:

#/User(JScript,C:\\Script.js)/#

This macro loads Java Script from the C:\Script.js file and uses it to generate the text.

The Script Macro dialog helps you select the language and the file.
